I was in search of an almighty recipe that would be loved by not only Japanese but by people of any origin. So in 2007, I devoted myself day after day to the creation of this almighty dressing, thanking my most beloved dog Bernie, who supported me throughout this wonderful process.

had been my life motto, and is now the cornerstone that our business is built upon. Once our Katsu specialty business established a good reputation, we opened a pop-up store in Camden market, followed by another pop-up in St. Paul’s, and after some further research in Europe and Japan, we finally opened our restaurant in Angel, thanking all the great people who gave us so much wisdom and support.
TANAKATSU Koko’s Mighty Dressing™, which is essential to the sliced cabbage served with the Katsu,
is often requested by visiting customers, which always warms my heart.
TANAKATSU Koko’s Mighty Dressing™️ is currently being incorporated in
many dishes in London’s 5 star hotels, famous restaurants, and various boutique hotels in Guernsey.
This dressing is adored amongst gourmets for it is not only wonderful with salads,
but can be poured simply over meat or fish to prepare a delicious meal.
At Tanakatsu, this dressing is handmade and bottled with
care every morning by our chefs, following my recipe.
